Its no secret theyre a little pricey, but it makes up for that in quality and variety. Highland Park is not your ordinary supermarket! This locally owned store not only provides some of the best meats in town, it has an amazing bakery and a catering service as well! As a very busy realtor in Glastonbury, I need a market that can cater a luncheon meeting or a Brokers Open House. When you check out, they will even bring your bags to the car and load it up with a smile! I just drove past many acclaimed bakeries the other day to get a cake for a birthday because they make better cakes than most bakeries around! Produce, deli, meat, local offerings you name it it will be great. They carry only the best quality of everything. Now that Im older I can see why it has always been acclaimed as the best around. Excellent store that has survived the ages! I grew up hearing how highland park was the best store around and never appreciated it.
